سعودية تنجو من اختطاف بريطانية بعد ستة أيام و4 متهمين يموتون في معركة أمنية

بعد ستة أيام من اختطافها في وضح النهار، عادت بريطانية إلى أسرتها سالمة في ملاوي، إثر عملية أمنية شهدت تبادلاً لإطلاق النار، وأسفرت عن مقتل أربعة يشتبه في تورطهم باختطافها، وإصابة مسؤول أمني بارز. وبدأت القصة عند نحو الساعة 12:30 ظهر 11 سبتمبر، عندما اختُطفت نصرت عثمان (47 عاماً)، وهي أم لطفلين وتعمل لدى شركة تدقيق، في حي ماونت بليزانت بمدينة بلانتير جنوبي ملاوي. وقالت الشرطة إن أربعة رجال اعترضوا مركبتها أثناء عودتها إلى منزلها، وأجبروها على ركوب سيارة أخرى قبل أن يفروا بها من المكان. ومع استمرار اختفائها، رصدت السلطات مكافأة قدرها 30 مليون كواشا ملاوي، تعادل نحو 17 ألف دولار، مقابل معلومات تقود إلى إنقاذها والوصول إلى المسؤولين عن اختطافها. ولم تتلق أسرتها أو السلطات أي تواصل من المشتبه بهم، كما لم تُطلب فدية، فيما ظل الدافع وراء الاختطاف غير معروف. وبعد ستة أيام، تمكنت الشرطة من الوصول إلى عثمان في منطقة مبمبا/تشادزوندا خارج مدينة بلانتير، ونفذت عملية أمنية لتحريرها. وخلال العملية، وقع تبادل لإطلاق النار بين الشرطة والمشتبه بهم، الذين قالت السلطات إنهم كانوا مسلحين ببندقية «AK-47» ومسدس. وأصيب الأربعة خلال المواجهة ونُقلوا إلى المستشفى، قبل أن يفارقوا الحياة متأثرين بإصاباتهم. كما أصيب نائب المفتش العام للشرطة ملووكا نويل كايرا بطلق ناري خلال العملية، ونُقل إلى المستشفى، فيما أكدت الشرطة أن حالته مستقرة. وعُثر على عثمان سالمة وأعيدت إلى أسرتها، فيما تواصل الشرطة تحقيقاتها لكشف الدافع وراء اختطافها وملابسات القضية كاملة. The story began around 12:30 PM on September 11, when Nasrat Osman (47 years old), a mother of two and an employee at an auditing firm, was kidnapped in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Blantyre, southern Malawi. The police stated that four men intercepted her vehicle while she was returning home and forced her into another car before fleeing the scene with her. As her disappearance continued, authorities offered a reward of 30 million Malawian kwacha, equivalent to about $17,000, for information leading to her rescue and the apprehension of those responsible for her kidnapping. Neither her family nor the authorities received any communication from the suspects, nor was a ransom demanded, while the motive behind the kidnapping remained unknown. After six days, the police managed to locate Osman in the Mbumba/Chadzunda area outside Blantyre and carried out a security operation to free her. During the operation, a shootout occurred between the police and the suspects, who authorities said were armed with an AK-47 rifle and a handgun. The four suspects were injured during the confrontation and were taken to the hospital, where they later died from their injuries. The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mlowoka Noel Kaira, was also shot during the operation and was taken to the hospital, with the police confirming that his condition is stable. Osman was found safe and returned to her family, while the police continue their investigations to uncover the motive behind her kidnapping and the full circumstances of the case.
