وبدأت الأزمة عقب خضوعه لعملية جراحية في القولون، إذ تعرض لتوقف مؤقت في عضلة القلب لعدة دقائق، قبل أن يتمكن الفريق الطبي من إنعاشه واستقرار حالته، في مرحلة شكلت نقطة تحول مهمة في مسار تعافيه. وأدت هذه المضاعفات إلى نقص حاد في وصول الأكسجين إلى المخ، ما انعكس على قدرته على الحركة والكلام في بداية فترة التعافي، قبل أن يشهد تحسناً تدريجياً مكّنه من استعادة بعض وظائفه الحيوية، بما في ذلك النطق وتحريك يده. لاحقاً، ظهرت مضاعفات إضافية نتيجة نقل الدم بكثافة، تمثلت في ارتشاح بالرئتين، ما زاد من تعقيد حالته الصحية، خصوصاً في ظل معاناته السابقة من مشكلات في الركبة والعمود الفقري. وفي موازاة ذلك، تكفّل الفنان بكامل نفقات علاجه، رغم التحديات الصحية والنفسية التي رافقت هذه المرحلة. واختتمت التطورات بتوجهه إلى باريس، حيث يخضع لبرنامج تأهيلي يهدف إلى استعادة قدراته الحركية واللفظية، بعيداً عن تلقي علاج طبي مباشر، كما تم تداوله. These complications led to a severe lack of oxygen reaching the brain, which affected his ability to move and speak at the beginning of the recovery period, before he gradually showed improvement that allowed him to regain some of his vital functions, including speech and moving his hand. Later, additional complications arose due to extensive blood transfusions, manifested in fluid accumulation in the lungs, which further complicated his health condition, especially given his previous struggles with knee and spinal issues. Alongside this, the artist covered all his treatment expenses, despite the health and psychological challenges that accompanied this phase. The developments concluded with his departure to Paris, where he is undergoing a rehabilitation program aimed at restoring his motor and verbal abilities, away from receiving direct medical treatment, as was circulated.
