غادر واشنطن إلى سويسرا.. فانس: ملفّا النووي ولبنان على الطاولة

أعرب نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس عن أمله في إحراز تقدم في الملف النووي ووقف إطلاق النار في لبنان، لدى مغادرته من قاعدة أندروز الجوية المشتركة متوجهاً إلى سويسرا للمشاركة في المفاوضات مع إيران. وقال فانس: «لا يمكنني البقاء هناك سوى يوم أو يومين، ونأمل في إحراز تقدم بشأن الملف النووي ووقف إطلاق النار في لبنان، وهما القضيتان الرئيسيتان اللتان سنركز عليهما»، موضحاً أنه واثق من أن الإيرانيين لديهم أيضاً قضايا يرغبون في مناقشتها. وفي رده على سؤال بشأن ما إذا كان القتال في لبنان يهدد المسار الدبلوماسي، قال فانس: «الأوضاع تتحسن بالفعل، ووتيرة التصعيد بدأت تتراجع قليلاً»، موضحاً أن إسرائيل ولبنان يريدان الأمن. وأضاف: «يدير وزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو والفريق بأكمله التطورات في لبنان بشكل نشط، وعلى الرغم مما تتناقله العناوين، فإن الأوضاع تتحسن بالفعل، ووتيرة التصعيد تتباطأ قليلاً». وطالب «حزب الله» اللبناني بالتوقف عن مهاجمة إسرائيل، مبيناً أنه سيعمل على منع إسرائيل من مهاجمة لبنان. ونشر متحدث باسم نائب الرئيس الأمريكي مقطع فيديو عبر منصة «إكس»، يظهر جي دي فانس يصعد على متن طائرة معلقاً: «نائب الرئيس ينطلق من واشنطن العاصمة في طريقه إلى سويسرا». وكان الوفد الإيراني المفاوض قد وصل إلى مدينة زيورخ السويسرية التي ستعقد فيها المحادثات، فيما لحقه الوفد الباكستاني برئاسة رئيس الوزراء شهباز شريف. وكان وفد أمريكي يضم المبعوث ستيف ويتكوف وكوشنر قد وصل إلى سويسرا في وقت سابق. Vance said, "I can only stay there for a day or two, and we hope to make progress on the nuclear file and the ceasefire in Lebanon, which are the two main issues we will focus on," explaining that he is confident the Iranians also have issues they wish to discuss. In response to a question about whether the fighting in Lebanon threatens the diplomatic path, Vance said, "The situation is actually improving, and the pace of escalation has begun to slow down a bit," clarifying that both Israel and Lebanon want security. He added, "Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the entire team are actively managing developments in Lebanon, and despite what the headlines may suggest, the situation is indeed improving, and the pace of escalation is slowing down a bit." He called on the Lebanese "Hezbollah" to stop attacking Israel, indicating that he would work to prevent Israel from attacking Lebanon. A spokesperson for the U.S. Vice President posted a video on the platform "X," showing JD Vance boarding a plane, commenting, "The Vice President is departing from Washington, D.C., on his way to Switzerland." The Iranian negotiating delegation had arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, where the talks will be held, followed by the Pakistani delegation led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. A U.S. delegation including envoy Steve Witkoff and Kushner had arrived in Switzerland earlier.
